A little bit mountain girl,
a little bit gypsy soul
You know the story, a fine art student decides to take classes in something they can actually make a living at… yeah that’s me. I entered college knowing only that I loved to draw, paint, and take photos. I didn’t know how to make that work as a career, so I decided to focus on graphic design. Little did I know how much I would love that path as well.
I started out as a print designer and added web design to my skills when my company needed a website. That was over fifteen years ago. Now I focus on creating great user experiences based on psychology and research. It is one thing to have a pretty website but it takes it to a whole other level to make it work for your customers and business goals. This is the kind of stuff that gets me excited.
I still love photography, drawing, and painting but have added so much more. Some others things I am excited about are gardening, traveling, and making great connections. Working with clients to build websites and create business strategies give me opportunities to learn new skills and gain personal growth. My clients are focused on building businesses that help make the world a better place and I’m honored to be on their team.
I grew up in the Appalachian mountains of Kentucky, so you will occasionally hear a y’all here or a twang there. I haven’t lived there in some time but I visit often. I like bluegrass music and electronica. I like porch sitting/bird watching and art shows. I’m always looking for my next adventure, because life is too short to not love what you do.
